Apple Carplay allows you to do nearly everything you want to do with your iPhone right through your Mini tilt. The operating system with your device connected to Apple Carplay allows you the ability to make calls, lists to voicemails read and write messages, listen to Music or Podcasts, and even use Apple maps.

For Navigation, you can use a controller or touchscreen to make a selection. Or you can even use Siri for hands-free operation at any time. You can return to the Mini-connected screen by pressing the Menu button on your controller. For this example, we are using an iPhone running iOS 10.3 by selecting the phone button. You can make a call by dialing traditionally or letting Siri Hey, Siri call Anna: on mobile to leave an app and return to the Apple Carplay screen.

Touch the home button on the lower left of the Apple Carplay screen, you can access your Phone’s Messages by selecting the messages icon. You have the option to view unread messages or write a message using Siri. To access your iTunes Library select the Music icon here you can search by artist. Although more songs play on your playlist or you can even access Apple Music to stream music from Apple’s radio station. To access other media options such as radio satellite auxiliary input simply press the media button on the controller in addition to entering an address
