Mini Driver Profiles Setting

Your key fob will learn and apply your Mini settings automatically with features such as your favorite buttons, navigation settings and even what temperature you like the cabin to be set.

So your car is always set up just as you like it.

If two people share the car and use different key fobs the car will assign each of your favorite settings to your own key fobs. If multiple people are sharing the same key fob but like the car set up differently, each driver can have their own driver profile.

This feature can be found on your central display via my Mini. The next time you start your car the display will ask you to select your driver profile and your mini will be set up personalized just for you.

Adjust your seats and get comfy in your Mini. To move forward and backward, pull the bar underneath the front of the seat upward.

When the bar is pulled up, slide the seat until it is in the right position and released. To adjust the back of your seat, pull the lever on the side.

When you are in the right position, release the lever to adjust the height and pull or push the lever repeatedly.

For additional leg support, you can also extend your seat.

Adjusting Mini Front Seats Lumbar

You can adjust lumbar support by turning the dial in either direction; this dial can be located halfway up the driver and the passenger seats.

Mini MoodLighting Changing

Mood lights let you change the color of your Mini’s interior lighting. They are found in the car’s door pockets in the foot wells and above the rearview mirror.

Put on the toggle to change colors until your desired color appears.

If you push and hold the switch the car will cycle through all its color options. When you find the one that suits your mood, release the switch or allow lights to cycle through all of the colors before releasing for the colors to change continuously.

Using Mini Comfort Access

With comfort access, there’s no need to get your key fob out to unlock the car. As long as the key is on you, just press the button on the door handle and the car will unlock. When you leave and push this button to lock the car.

Mini Favorite Button Setting

Under the central display, you’ll find the number two favorite buttons. To program the button, all you need to do is press and hold it for a second or so until you hear the confirmation beep.

If you have a favorite radio station and want it to be set to number one, hover over the radio station and press down one, you’ll hear the beep and it will then be set to that button.

If you’re navigating to a regular destination, say the office, just put the post code into the Sat Nav and then press a favorite button whilst hovering over the address to store it.

The same goes for a phone contact finding their number through a connected phone. Then pressing a favorite button to store it. Any feature your mini offers can be stored against a favorite button.

To remind yourself which feature lies behind each favorite button just hold a finger gently over the button. The details will be displayed on the screen.

Folding Down Mini Rear Seats

To fold a rear seat down, pull the toggle to release the lock then push the seat flat.

If you want to push the entire row down simply release both toggles at each end of the rope.

Pulling the seat backwards into the upright position to replace. You will hear a click when it has locked back into place. You can also increase boot space by moving the seats into a more upright position. Using the bracket behind the seats locks them into place.
