One touch sensor

To unlock the driver’s or front passenger’s door, have the intelligent key with you, then pull the door handle to open the door. The other doors will remain locked. To unlock the other doors, press the request switch on either the driver or front passenger’s door within one minute of using the one-touch sensor. The one-touch sensor does not operate for two seconds after the vehicle has been locked. If this occurs, release the handle and then hold it again to unlock the door.

To lock your vehicle, push any door handle’s request switch once after all doors have been closed. These functions are available when the intelligent key is within approximately two and a half feet of the corresponding request switch. To enable or disable the one-touch sensor function, press the menu button on the control panel, touch settings, touch comfort and convenience, then touch the touch-sensitive door sensor key.

The one-touch sensor function is active when the indicator light on the screen is illuminated. When this function is not active, the driver’s door must be unlocked by pressing the door handle request switch while carrying the intelligent key with you. Press the door handle request switch again within one minute to unlock all doors and the trunk.

Remote keyless entry

The intelligent key has remote keyless entry functions that can operate within approximately 33 feet of the vehicle. Press this button to unlock the driver’s door. Quickly press this button again to unlock the remaining exterior locks. Once the doors are unlocked, press and hold the unlock button for more than three seconds to lower the automatic windows if so equipped.

Press this button to lock your vehicle. The hazard lights will flash, and the horn will beep to let you know the doors have been locked. If you exit the vehicle and close the door without the intelligent key, all doors will unlock, and a warning chime will sound. Pressing and holding both the lock and unlock buttons for more than two seconds will deactivate the horn beep feature.

The hazard lights will flash three times, letting you know the feature has been turned off. To turn it back on, press and hold both buttons again for longer than two seconds. The hazard lights will flash once, and the horn will beep once. Your intelligent key is also equipped with a panic alarm button. To activate the panic alarm, press and hold this button. The alarm can be deactivated by pressing any button on the key fob.

Mechanical Key

In the event that the intelligent key battery is dead, you can find a mechanical key on the backside of the key fob. Release the lock knob to slide out the mechanical key.

Up to four intelligent keys can be used with one vehicle as long as the key is registered with an Infinity retailer prior to using the system. If so equipped, the user profile function will store custom audio, climate, navigation, drive mode, and driving position settings. To add or edit a user profile, press the menu button, touch this key user profiles, then add a new profile or select the profile you wish to edit.

The intelligent key contains sensitive electrical components. Please avoid these circumstances that could affect its operation. Avoid dropping or striking it against another object. Keep it away from water. Keep it away from equipment with magnetic fields, including computers, cell phones, TVs, and audio accessories. Avoid using a keychain that contains a magnet.
